STOP MOTION VER.

Across three variations, static, textured, and stop-motion, the same visual system is reinterpreted to explore how motion and treatment affect perception. Each version reimagines typography not as fixed content, but as character and performance.

The letter “Z” becomes the central figure, moving through playful, staged interactions that suggest narrative within a minimal system. Moments of visibility and invisibility shape the composition: a “Z” disappears into a black square, becoming indistinguishable from its environment, while a white circular spotlight isolates and reveals it, turning the letter into a performer caught within a frame.

Together, the studies exaggerate timing, rhythm, and simplicity to create personality from basic forms, transforming a 10-second exercise into an expanded sense of narrative and animation.

This project explores the fundamentals of motion graphics through constraint, using only black and white letters and shapes to investigate change, composition, and contrast.
