This project is a series of three editorial field guides exploring Mexican telenovelas as both cultural narrative and visual language. Hearts & Desires on Screen examines how emotion and drama are shaped through storytelling and design.

Each book approaches the subject differently: a manuscript tracing the history of telenovelas, a structured “top 10” catalog of iconic novelas, and a deconstructed volume that exposes the genre’s underlying themes and tensions.

Across the series, bold, romantic visuals—red florals, layered compositions, and dramatic layouts—reflect the intensity and spectacle of telenovelas. Together, the books form a shifting system where structure becomes storytelling and design mirrors emotional excess.
